iReport and Windows 7

I am moving from an XP machine to a Windows 7 machine, and am trying to set-up my iReport on the Windows 7 machine but encountering issues when I try to compile a report. I am using 3.0.0 only because that is the version I have been using and it makes life easier to compare the 2, but will migrate to a later version in due course. The issue I am having is that at compile time, I receive the following; java.io.FileNotFoundException : xxxxxxxxxxxx (access is denied) - I asusme this is related to permissions to write to the hard drive, and I believe from looking into this that Windows 7 has a didfferent approach to protection of folders, is this something you are already aware of and have any suggestions, as permissioning myself o the destination folder has no impact
