Hi,

 

I am using Jasperpro3.5.1 and 3.7 for implemetnting Cascading input controls.

 

Suppose i have state and city as two paramaeters.

for state,I am having dropdown values and

for city,select city from region where state='$P{statepara}'

Above syntax is not working .Please suggest me the correct approach.

Have you tried without the quotes ?

 

select city from region where state=$P{statepara}

I am able to solve this one.we need to use distinct and order by clause while writing input control query.
