JasperServer 3.1 compatibility

Can anyone advise if JasperServer 3.1 is compatible with iReports 3.7.2.

JasperServer 3.1 is compatible with iReport 3.7.2. Do you experience specific issue?

 

If you create your report in iReport 3.7.2 ensure that you have proper compatibility option selected (Options -> iReport -> General -> Compatibility). Resave the report after changing it.

I have not experienced a specific issue, just wanted to check before iReport 3.7.2 is installed on all our work PCs.

I think it depends on what you mean by "compatible." Some iReport 3.7.2 features aren't supported by JasperServer 3.1. For example, I'm quite sure the Table component added in iR 3.7.2 isn't supported by JasperServer 3.1.

Generally, most things will probably work, but the rule of thumb for iR -> JS compatibility is that the version numbers match to the third digit. So iReport 3.7.0 is comppatible with JasperServer 3.7.0.
