Deficiency
Hi!I have a problem with jasper Report, i have created a lot of JRXML File. Now i must change the pdfEncoding from default to "Identity-H". Is it possible to set this property global? If there is no way to set this, the only way to set this parameter is to edit each JRXML file and set this parameter on each field.ThanksFlorianPost Edited by Deficiency at 06/16/2010 14:
lucianc
See net.sf.jasperreports.default.pdf.encodingYou would set that property globally in jasperreports.properties.HTH,Lucian
Deficiency
Thanks for the infomation.I have read before about this property file, but i did not find information, how to bring jasper to read this file, or where it should be located, Thanks
lucianc
jasperreports.properties needs to be located at the root level on a folder or jar which is included in your application's classpath.Regards,Lucian
hema_jasper
Hi,It is working for me. Just copy the attached jasperreports.properties file (containing the property net.sf.jasperreports.default.pdf.encoding=Identity-H) in the application's src folder.Regards,Hema
martyrrytham
Hey, Two things come to mind,1. You have to make sure the jar, with the new name, is on the classpath of the project. In eclipse, go to project properties, buildpath, add the jar. I don't know how to do this in iReports, but I think you can2. That file jasper_extensions, is in the jar jasper-x-x.jar. You can open the jar and view the file with winRaR, modify, and save to the jar. Happy Printing!
