Compiling Reports

Hi,

I'm facing some issues when deploying my Reports on Unix, some char. is being truncated at the end of the sentence. the fonts is working fine with me.

Do i have to generate (compile) to .jasper on Unix or is it ok to use Windows for compile and then deploy on Unix. does any one have any suggestion.

Hi -- I've seen this problem myself. There's just something about the font differences between winwdows and Linux. (I develop on windows and deploy on Linux)

I find that I just have to choose a font size and padding and width that will work on both systems. Our testing is done on Linux, so the problem shows up before things actually get deployed. Just try a slightly biggger text box or smaller padding or smaller font.
