me_vsoundar Posted April 28, 2010 Share Posted April 28, 2010 Hello, I designed a jasper report through ireport. The report has some fields. consider, "Remarks" is one of the field. This textfield has a height and width defined. suppose if the text has a large amount of data, then the rest of values are truncated. But i want to display it also.so how to set the dynamic height for a textfield when it overflows... If U know the way, please tell me. pablodc Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 Hi Soundararajan, You must set the property "Stretch with overflow" in the textfield, so the field can grow when don't have enought space to show the data. BTW: any other object that you put in the design below the textfield must have the property "Position Type" as Float, so that if the text field grows the other object can be re-arranged in the design dinamically.Good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
