2004 IR Help
By: CupRep - anatesan Repeating GroupHeader Fields On Detail Pages 2005-01-16 18:27 I am a relative newbie to Jasper although I am familiar with other Reporting products. I have a simple "break" report. I'd like to make the fields in the Group Header repeat on every page that the detail group takes up. I have the "Print Repeated Values" set on all the fields in the Group Header. This does not seem to do the trick. I also tried setting the "Print When Detail Overflows" - that didn't work either. I did look at the samples - FirstJasper. This report actually seems to get the Group headings to repeat when the detail spills over, but I can't see any special settings on these Group Header Fields other than "Print Repeated Values". Is there some other obscure setting I need? Thx for the help By: ben - bension RE: Repeating GroupHeader Fields On Detail Pa 2005-01-18 18:55 You don't need to set either of those two properties. To do what you want you need to set the groupsexpression of the group to repeat on the row count. Like so <groupExpression>$V{REPORT_COUNT}</groupExpression> for more info see the tips and tricks documentation. hth Ben By: Teodor Danciu - teodord RE: Repeating GroupHeader Fields On Detail Pa 2005-01-19 09:24 Hi, What you need is to set isReprintHeaderOnEachPage="true" for your group. Check the "Quick reference" for details. I hope this helps. Thx a lot for the responses.
