I managed to set up subreports to return values using a Map object so that I can perform a sum for a group. I'm using subreports due to the need for multiple SQL queries. However, whenever the first group initializes, all of it's values are null. When the second group initializes, its values are from the first group, the third group holds the seconds, and so forth. I've tried using a scriptlet to get around this, but scriptlets seem to only work randomly. Any ideas on how to get the values used for the right groups? I'm using iReport, but I have no qualms delving into the XML to make changes. Thanks in advance for your help.
