papaswede
I'm using an external TTF font in my report, and when previewing the report in iReport all looks good, but when generating the font in the web app (running on Grails), I get the following exception:Caused by: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRRuntimeException: Could not load the following font : pdfFontName : VLADIMIR.TTFpdfEncoding : Cp1252isPdfEmbedded : trueI have made sure that the TTF file is on the classpath, but it is still not working. Does anyone have any ideas about what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!

Teodor Danciu
Emil, I would check again the classpath. Also, I would actually try package up the TTF in a font extension JAR and thus simplify the report templates as the pdfXXX attributes would become redundant in JRXML, if you use font extensions. Tom, I have replied you on the other thread. Thank you,Teodor
