printing line differences through jasper

2004-02-24 21:05

We are currently printing shipping labels through Jasper reports. It seems to work fine with normal prints such as A4 etc., but if we print labels, what happens is that,it prints each label starting with some gaps .Top margin does advance for every label getting printed. So when it reaches 8th or 9th label, the print goes beyond the labels.we want to know that, is this a problem with jasper report or ?.so kindly help us.We need to solve this issue ASAP since its stopping our clients business.thanks in advance

Cheers

I am not sure what is your problem.

But I use iReport to design report layout.

So is this solve your problem?

I had another problem. That is when I use query

to fill the detail area, I want the boundary line can

full fill all detail area ,but it seems the boundary line just reach the outside of data . After that area, the line was disappear.

So how can I do?

well,if u want to print the line for every rows in the detail column you can go for putting the line in the detail area.but if u need the line to print only once at last of your detail area you can do that by putting the line in the footer area, so that the line will appear only once and it will be visible too.try it and reply me.bye
