Hello

 

I have to make a table like listing, meaning with border around the text elements. I was very disappointed to experience, that the rectangle displays perfectly well in PDF, but disappears in HTML. Is this normal behaviour, or what do we need to consider to make it work?

You need to be absolutely sure that you have no overlapping elements. Otherwise it might look ok for pdf's but some of the overlapping elements will not be shown for html outputs.
