halabe
Hi,I created a report that displays pictures uploaded using a java web application. When generating this report, I am getting an outofmemory exception because the size of the pictures is very big which is leading to a big report size. Can I set the size of the report to unlimited in any way? Thank you,
coolguy
Please use a subclass of JRVirtualizer class to set up the secondary cache. You can choose from JRFIleVirtualizer, JRSwapFileVirtualizer and JRGZipVirtualizer. This will help you to come out of the OutOfMemoryError. Please check the jasper reports samples (virtualizer subfolder) to get a sample java code. PFA attached sample code from the jasperreports sample.Hope this helps!
halabe
Hi Coolguy,Thanks for your reply.I found a way to close the issue by reducing the file size of the images when uploading them. However, your reply also helped me.
