hi,

i'm very new in ireport.

Currently i use ireport ver. 0.4.1 to create a report.

 

 

 

The problem is ..can anybody here to help me how to upgrade my web compiler cause when i compile the report using ireport 1.2.5 .The system give me the error message.

I solved a compilation problem by updating the jasperreports-xxx.jar-file in '/lib'-directory (where the -xxx is the version number). Don't know does this help, but you can always try :)

hi,

thank for reply.

 

For your info.I'm not really the java programmer.

The situation goes like this.

- i compile the report using ireport 1.2.5 (jasperreport 1.2.5) at my pc.My report works well

 

but when i tranfer to the server, and compile it.

report cannot work.

 

So i guest the compiler at server (my prevous compiler is jasper 0.6.6) cannot support my new report(1.2.5).

 

I dont now how to change my compiler at server.

 

Before this i try to update jasperreports1.2.5.jar file to /lib directory but problem still same.

 

I hope you can really help me.

this the error when i compile the report

 

org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Attribute "class" with value "java.sql.Date" must have a value from the list "java.lang.Object java.lang.Boolean java.lang.Byte java.util.Date java.sql.Timestamp java.sql.Time java.lang.Double java.lang.Float java.lang.Integer java.io.InputStream java.lang.Long java.lang.Short java.math.BigDecimal java.lang.String ".
