supermanu Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 Hi i am new to jasper reports, i am currently in the process of reviewing it for integration into my work environment. I am wondering if it is possible to export to any of the microsoft office formats (xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, doc, docx, rtf). This would really make this a done deal for me because i already like the easy java integration, and the ease of use, but i really need full office support to justify the transition from our current reporting tool Windward Reports which supports all the office file formatsI see that under the project description for jasper reports it lists : Report output in PDF, XML, HTML, CSV, XLS, RTF, TXT as the only report output types, is this old info ? does anyone know when the support for office file formats will happen ?
