Custom Wizard template

 Hi All,

I need to create my own Wizard template for wizard template generation. I found

comjaspersoftireportdesignertemplatesclassicC.jrxml

comjaspersoftireportdesignertemplatesclassicT.jrxml

templates, modified them a little bit, renamed to my_companyC.jrxml,  my_companyT.jrxml.

Then I added them to Tools -> Options -> Wizard Templates

After that, I tried to create report by using wizard and selecting in Layout my template. 

Unfortunally, result template was created with using default template.

Could you help me, what I'm doing wrong?

this may not be the correct solution, but I did something similar to you except that I kept the names of my modified wizard templates as  classicC.jrxml and classicT.jrxml... then added them via tools / options... then did a new report via wizard and my changes were there

Where are these files located?

I've found them here:

iReport-nb-3.5.0\ireport\modules\com-jaspersoft-ireport.jar\com\jaspersoft\ireport\designer\templates\

Thanks for that, do you open that path in iReport to edit them?

Not quite. I copied these files from jar to local path. And modified these copies (in iReport of cause).
