European font inside Asian one

Hello,

my question is simple. I have some text fields printed in a pdf in an asian language (Traditionnal Chinese for example), and I would like the Latin characters to be printed in "Arial" for instance.

Is it possible to make a mix between two fonts and let Jasper know when to print which one ?

Is my question clear ? I'm french so my english may not be perfect... :)

No, I just want my european characters (like 'a', 'b', 'c' or 'd') to be printed in "Arial" instead of the font included in the chinese font...

Do you have Latin and Chinese characters in the same text field?

If so, one solution is to set the text field as styled text and to enclose Latin characters into <style fontName="Arial">..</style> sections.  If your text fields are dynamical, you'd have to write a utility method that preprocesses the text and introduces <style> sections around Latin characters.
