anandharaj
Well, JasperServer is a java container which run on Servlet, therefore if the tomcat start as service it will also start the jasperserver (unless you set it not auto "deploy")
kadimulam
I am using the bundled Tomcat that comes with JasperServer. How do i make it as a Windows service? Thanks,Kiran
anandharaj
Its very simple, inside the tomcat bin directory, there is a file called "service.bat". Simply execute that file in command line as " service.bat install"
kadimulam
As mentioned above, apart from JasperServer, i have another Tomcat which runs as a service. How do i make two Tomcats to run as services? Thanks,Kiran
anandharaj
I wonder how the JS bundled can sucessfuly installed as the port will conflict (provided your earlier Tomcat run on different port)You can install this service as different name, execute like this in command prompt (jasperserver is the new service name) -> service.bat install jasperserver
