page header and page number with crosstab

I have a report that consists of a crosstab which spans over multiple pages.  I would like a customer page header for each page, which contains the report title, customer information, page number and column headers.

Is it possible to get the page header information to print on each page when the crosstab is in the summary band?   Most important is the page number.

I'm using iReport 3.0.0

1: create a dummy group
2: put your corsstab in the footer of the dummy
3: put your title at the header of the report
4: put your title at the footer of the report

Should this method still work with JasperSoft Studio? I just tried it and every cell in my crosstab ended up with a null value.
