malkorgan
What would you suggest to embed jaspersoft reporting functionality in a custom portal?I would like to customize a user personal portal in a way that is possible to set parameters in a form, click a button and obtain a particular jasper report.I don't want the user to open a new browser to access at the jaspersoft portal to run reports, but i would like the jaspersoft to be used in the background. Is the web service the only one way? Would you suggest some other simpler ways?ThanksMalkorgan

swood
When you say "portal", do you mean a Java Portal Server, like Liferay and JBoss Portal? There is a Liferay (JSR 168) portlet available at https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=162962&package_id=195243&release_id=642675. Another way to embed JasperServer is to use an iFrame or some UI wraqpping technique. ShermanJaspersoft
