I included the library files common-*.jars in the /<java>/jre/lib/ext folder. But I found that Tomcat 4.1.24 did not start. It is because of the jar files conflict. I even tried to use the jar files from the Tomcat distribution, but it did not help. It was okay with Tomcat 4.0.1. Is there a way for me to include common-*.jars with the desktop application to load the classes instead of placing it in /<java>/jre/lib/ext in order for the Tomcat to work. I tried to include the jar files using java -cp .;jar1;jar2;jar3; application, but it did not work. Please help. Thanks.
