Very Urgent....Outline Problem!!!!!

I am working on a very important project and our team has chosen JasperReports as the reporting tool.Well the problem that we are facing is as follows:

We want a rectangular boundary or you can say an outline across each page.As a single line cannot be streched across different bands we made the boundary by joining the boundary of each individual band.The problem is that there is no boundary created between Page Footer band and Detail band.

Let me tell you we have only used the required bands.The bands which contains nothing are having height as "0".

The final Layout that comes out is something like this.

| Detail |

|___________________|

 

No Boundary comes here???

|___________________|

 

Any answer on how to get a boundary across each page will be highly appreciated.

For a quickhack use the background section of the report to draw the rectangle surrounding the complete content. And draw the horizontal lines from inside the other bands.
