Setting decimal places

Hello,

Does anyone know a way to set the format for a decimal field to have a certain number of decimal places based on a number in the data.

For example, I have a field in my xml file called dec_places.  The value in this field is what I need to use to set the number of decimals for the field formatting.

Does anyone know how I go about doing this?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You could use a Scriptlet. Call the Scriptlet and pass the value and the decimal settings to it. Then use Java code to format the number.
