Variable SUM and multiple pages

Hi guys,

 

Congratulations for the great job you're doing.

I'm new to iReport (v. 2.0.4) and my question is probably trivial.

 

I have a multiple pages report that contains, let's say 5 records with a field "amount".

The value of the amount for each record is 100.

 

At page break, after printing 3 records the SUM is 400 and on the next page with the last 2 records, the SUM is 100. Instead of 300 for the first page and 200 for the second.

 

I'm using a VAR type BigDecimal, Calculation Type is SUM, Reset Type is PAGE and Variable Expression is $F{itemAmount}.

 

What am I missing?

 

I'll appreciate any hint and tips.

Hi,

Your detail band probably had isSplitAllowed=false or splitType=Prevent.

This has been fixed in JR 6.5.0.
