GrayChan Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 I check the install manual with 3.0 version , but found it seems same with 2.1.Because I can not download .bin file, only a zip .Who could teach me how to install on a unix system ?Tomcat and mysql is prepared , only install and config.Thanks! mdahlman Posted June 7, 2008 Share Posted June 7, 2008 GrayChan, You're right: The install guide included with jasperserver-3.0-RC1-bin.zip is still the older 2.1 install guide. But the instructions there should still be correct for installing 3.0 on a Linux or Unix system. I believe that there will be some improvements in the 3.0 document, but the older one still has all of the key points. Since you already have Tomcat and MySQL, you should go directly to the section "Install Using the War File Distribution Zip" on page 16.
