parametersMapExpression?

2003-09-16 05:13

Hi,

the quick reference says that it is possible to pass the same parameters from the masterreport to its subreports. Trying this I've got the problem that the parameters in the subreport are not filled (they're all null).

my master report receives for example:

<parameter name="fromDate" isForPrompting="false" class="java.lang.String"/>

<parameter name="toDate" isForPrompting="false" class="java.lang.String"/>

calling the subreport the following parameters should be passed:

<subreportParameter name="REPORT_PARAMETERS_MAP">

<subreportParameterExpression><![CDATA[$P{REPORT_PARAMETERS_MAP}]]></subreportParameterExpression>

</subreportParameter>

<subreportParameter name="AIRLINE">

<subreportParameterExpression><![CDATA[$F{AIRLINE_CODE}]]></subreportParameterExpression>

</subreportParameter>

In my subreport I now try to fetch the three parameters but only the AIRLINE_CODE is not null:

<parameter name="AIRLINE" isForPrompting="false" class="java.lang.String"/>

<parameter name="fromDate" isForPrompting="false" class="java.lang.String"/>

<parameter name="toDate" isForPrompting="false" class="java.lang.String"/>

What is wrong in my xml-Files? Has anyone an idea how to fix the problem?

Thanks,

haggisn
