Hi,

I have just installed the iReport by extracting the archive. I am using Windows XP machine.

When I run the "startup.bat" of the iReport I got following error.

"Can't find the translation for key = gui.elementpropertiessheet.sheetProperty.re

nderType: using default (Render type)

Can't find the translation for key = gui.elementpropertiessheet.sheetProperty.re

I opened the iReport and created my "XML file data source". Then I tried to proceed with that data source. But "Data -> Report Query" is disabled so that I am not able to proceed.

I have attached the screenshot for your reference.

Any guess why it is happening???

Thanks in advance. :( size=400]http://www.jasperforge.org/components/com_joomlaboard/uploaded/images/report_query_disabled4.JPG

You have created a connection to your XML data source, then create a new report and use that connection for it. I never worked with XML data source, but I'm sure there are some tutorials and the forum is very helpful, try searching it for some hints.
