sgsn Posted March 14, 2008 Share Posted March 14, 2008 Folks, I have worked on various BI tools but a first timer to Jasper. I would like to build a dashboard with data i have in Oracle database. I am looking at iReport, jasperStudio, JasperReports trying to figure out where one stops and the other one takes over. Could someone help me out please? svenn Posted March 14, 2008 Share Posted March 14, 2008 iReports is a report development environment for Jasper Reports. jasperStudio is a packaged version of iReports that you can buy. Jasper Reports is the reporting engine. You can create the jrxml source file directly in an editor but something like iReports makes it a lot easier.
