Using JasperServer for ASP business model

We are thinking of using JasperServer to provide reports to our ERP customers which work under an ASP business model. Basically, this model consists of these customers connecting to our offices to make use of our ERP. Information for each customer is stored in different databases.

 

I wonder whether it is possible to configure a single JasperServer so that, depending on the user logging on, a different datasource is selected. This would allow us to create a separate user for each customer and maintain only a single machine.

 

I would appreciate any hint about how to set up such behaviour. If it is not feasible, I wonder whether it would be a accepted as request for next versions.
