Subreport variable Accessing

Hi,

This is dheeraj, I am new for ireport actually i made a two subreport with one master report, and i want to pass may subreport variable value to master report, how can i do this, please give me ur suggession.

Hope this helps:

 

1. Create a variable in the main report that will hold the value from the subreport.

 

2. Right click on the subreport and choose "Properties".

 

3. In the window that opens go to the "Subreport (Other)" tab.

 

4. On the bottom of that tab are two more tabs. Choose the "Subreport return values" tab.

 

5. Click the "Add" button and enter/select the main and subreport variables.

Hi, i have the same problem of dheeraj, i did the step of mshoe, but when i want to add the subreport variable , it's not appear in the combobox, it show me this:

i declared the subreport variable. I hope that you cant help me
