iReport crashing

Hi all

 

I have install and been running iReport 2.0.2 on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS and I have had problems with iReport.

 

But as soon as it throws an exception such as bad SQL, I type in correct SQL and then try to compile the report and iReport hangs.

 

Has anyone else experience this in Linux?

 

Here is the error:
