I'm trying to build some pretty simple reports, and am getting all of the rows from the db I need back, but am having a difficult time figuring out how to sum and group how I want to. I've looked at the API for Jasper, and it would seem like everything I could need is in there, but without much of an explanation for most of the methods/constants/etc, I am finding it difficult to accomplish what I want to. I've looked as much as I can at the "NoXmlDesignApp.java" example that came with the documentation, but am still having issues with things as simple as grouping by one field and summing by another.
