No it does not. There are a few things you can do.

 

1. Run the query directly in a query tool to see if it brings back valid data.

 

2. Set the reports properties for when there is no data to "All sections, no details". Then put controls in the header or title section that contain you parameter values. This will tell you if your parameter are getting passed to your report and what values they contain.
