How can I keep the group footer with the last detail line and not on a page by itself?

Hi,

 

You have to know beforehand how many records

are in the group.

If not, it is impossible to achieve that.

 

The number of records in the group can be obtained

as a field in the data source, probably using

agregate functions in the SQL query or more

complex queries anyway.

 

Then, if the number of records of the currect group

is available as a report field, tricks could be made

in order to introduce a pagebreak, probably using

a dummy group with an expression based on the

number of records that you want to move to the

next page to go with the group footer.

 

I did it once and it worked.
