list dependency - close to purchasing

hello all....

jasper newbie here. we are very close on deciding to purchase jasper technology. one thing though is that all of our reports use this feature which is customer specific.

 

on the report form , how to implement list dependency.

example

list A, list B

 

user selects a value from list A which then populates corresponding values on list B. This is exactly similar to the javascript "onchange" event type. thanks again.

 

n.b i am using jasperstudio to create my reports. if this can be resolved. then we are ready to purchase. thanks.
