truszeka Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 Hello, I'm in great trouble: I want to generate a PDF from my JSF/Facelets we application with Jasperreports 1.3.4 ( iReport 1.3.3 ) is the designer ). I have only one group ( CarLabel ). Jasperreports generates the PDF, but only one page: all of groups (and his rows) is overrendered (no pagebreak). When I set for the group to "start on new page" then all of groups is starting on a new page. But I don't want! I need that groups is contineusly rendered, when necessary page break is inserted! That's all, and I can'a achieve!!! nittu02 Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 okay.. hey i noticed that u have set the column count to 6 in the report properties. will setting it to 1 affect your functionality?? if not, set the column count to 1 and then try. now am not getting that overlapping problem. One ore think: I have some character(s) that doesn't appear on the PDF (for example: 'Å‘' from hangarien language). How can I solve this? And one more: I haven't pagenumber on last page... nittu02 Posted August 10, 2007 Share Posted August 10, 2007 The number of columns in the report define in how many columns the data will be printed. that is, if you set the column count to 3, then the data will be printed in a newspaper fashion, with the detail band in 3 columns. and about the pdf problem, quiet a number of people have got the same problem in pdf encoding.
