How to Query a DataSource in Report?

Hi! to All:)

 

Is it Possible to query datasource passed/new to report.

For some Reason I need to query from inside the report.

My datasource is SQL.

I want to fill a text field in detail band after querying the datasource.

This Query will return a string.

If this is possible:woohoo: Then please give me a small example of code.
