msmolyak
Hello, Could you help understand the reportElement element of the jrxml files? It contains attributes indicating the offset (x, y)and size (width, height) of the report element. What are the units of measure of those attributes? What does width of 48 mean? I am trying to produce a fixed-column-width report, where I would like these attributes to measure how many characters the columns has. Apparently they mean something else (48 mm?) Is it possible to deal with character width and not physical width in Jasper reports? If not, how to translate the character width to the units of measure used by Jasper reports? Thank you.
