I get this message when I compile a report. Does any one know how to fix it I am using ver 0.4.6

I had the same problem. You have to download the DTD and store it locally. Then change the line at the top of your xml design file like so

 

<!DOCTYPE jasperReport SYSTEM "file:////home/doog/development/report/dtd/jasperreport.dtd">

Hi,

 

I don't think this is necessary.

 

Just modify the encoding type of the XML report

design file like this:

 

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
