After I have created and compiled the report, I would like to somehow explicidly send the report to a predefined printer without having the printer dialog showing up. I check the examples, but can't seem to find a solution. Does anyone know how to do this?

Try using this.

JasperPrintManager.printReport(strFillFileName, false);

 

strFillFileName is the complete file path and filename of the jrprint file.

e.g. strFillFileName = C:reportsFileName.jrprint

false means that the print dialog will not show.
