I want to know the difference between iReport & Jasper Report. I am involved in developing Web Application involvingWebSphere 6.0 & RAD 6.0. If I need to create reports in this environment, which one, either iReport/Jasper , I have to use, to generate my reports? Thanks in advance for the reply. svenn Posted May 22, 2007 Share Posted May 22, 2007 iReport is the report designer, Jasper Reports is the reporting engine. You can create Jasper Reports by manually creating the jrxml file and compiling it. iReport gives you a more user friendly environment to develop reports in.
