Dynamic Font Size

I am looking for the best way to accomplish this and perhaps someone has already done this.

 

I am creating a layout that is expected to print within a certain boundary so I can not stretch the text field however I need all the text to print in the field. I could set the font size to display the longest possible string in the field size at design time but it would be better if I could come up with a way to set the font size smaller for strings that will not fit so that they do fit, thus displaying the string at the best possible size. To do that what I need to do is set the font size at fill time based on the length of that particular string and text field size. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
