Fixing the height of subreport

hallo,

I have a question whoch i'm not sure if I can solve it with jasperreports.Hopefully someone out there can help me.

Is it possible in subreports to adjust the height of it according to the length of data source.

What I mean is that on some pages the data fits completey on the height(fully occupied) but other pages not all.So here there will be a blank space because the data is not so much as in the previous page.I tried with isRemovelineWhenBlanck="true" but it didin't work.

An answer will be much appreciated
