single word BOLD in a field

Hi folks,

I have a database, where some fields are tagged like:

"hello <b>thisisbold</b>"

Means we are using the html tag for bold text within the textfield of the database.

 

Questions:

1. Do I have to build my own jrxml-file to handle this option of bold word within my text

2. is there a trick to change the jrxml generating depending of the <b> </b> tag during filling.

Means is there something like "if else" :-)

 

I would like to use a report genereated by iReport and some manipulation to handle the bold-tag in the text.

If I have to generate my own jrxml, then how to deal with pages, pagessize, new page etc

 

Can anybody help me on that
