mysql issue install jasperserver on win2k3

Hi,

I am trying to install 1.2 on a win2k3 server. I have an existing mysql server on my network. When I run the installer, i point it to the mysql server on the network and it tells me that the server is not detected on port 3306. I have used Aquadata Studio to verify that the db is up and running. what am I doing wrong? btw, i am using mysql 5.0.24

 

any help would be greatly appreciated

I am also having a similar problem (except using 1.2.1) - was there any resolution to this?

Hi,

I did not figure a way to fix the install. What I did was download the binarys without the installer and installed by hand. I had to run the db create scripts by hand as well.
