verter Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 I use iReport 1.3.0 and create java application with jasperreports-1.3.0.jar for building reports and export data to MS Excel. I've got a report template file (*.jrxml). In "Pattern" property of the text field I set format "0.00" for represent double value. jmurray Posted March 13, 2007 Share Posted March 13, 2007 The problem is that the data is being placed into cells that are have 'General' formatting (the Excel default)applied. That means that Microsoft Excel will look at the incoming data and apply what it thinks is the best display formatting for what it sees. You have to come in afterwards and reformat the cells at 'Number' with x decimal places if Excel make an inappropriate decision. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
