one PDF per record

Hi,

I am using JR and iReport 1.30

I am working on a report that prints all the invoices for the month. When the output is sent to PDF, I end up with one file (as expected).

 

We would ideally like to be able to send each invoice to a different PDF.

Is there any way I can drive JR via PHP (or Java) such that I can make it generate each invoice and force it to output it to a file and format that I specify?

 

(The current report has an InvoiceID parameter, which I will need to also supply through whatever scripting method is used in the end).

 

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

ps: does anyone have the download links for the Eclipse plugin for iReports? When I try the one shown in the JR pages, I get a Bad Gateway error...
