steps to follow iReport

Hai All,

I am new in iReport tool, i am at basic level any one please give me guidelines, how to follow the steps.

And also how to integrate with java and xml.Here i have to use SyBase DataBase,Any one please help me,it is very urgent.

suppose if i write sample report what type of code should i write in java file, what type of code should i write in XML file and what type of code i have to write in tool called iReport.

Any help wiil be appriciated.
