subreport problem[urgent]

i have designed a report with several subreports,i run the report successfully from ireport but when am try to run it from jdev the report is displayed with no data and the subreport which contains another subreport isn't displayed at all

could any one help me at this issue?

You haven't provided any feedback in the original post to say whether your master report returns at least one row. In order to help you find a solution you're going to have to do that.

Hello,

i have the same problem. My main report won't return any lines, but nevertheless i need the subreport.

 

The parameter i use for the query ist the same for both reports. The main report passes it to the subreport.

 

What can i do!?

I'm pretty sure that the previous post had a reference to an entirely different (duplicate) post for followup Arescrew2.

 

 

However you won't find anything enlightening there either because AMM won't define their problem properly. So until either you or AMM define the problem in the correct thread then there's no chance of a solution.

Check your report properties , like... wheather,

1. the WHEN NO DATA property is set to All sections,No data of all reports.
2. subreport query is returning data or not.
3. use the proper datasource which you have configured successfully.
4. If your font is other than English, set the right font properties to that fields.
5. check the database connection properly.
6. Individually,confirm all subreports and main report are running successfully.
7. check the java code for proper datasource ,fill manager and pdf exporters.
