i18n help

Hi,

My report passes an expression which needs to be evaluated first and the value of it is the key which should be used by the Resource Bundle to generate the value.

However, $R{} takes the field passed within $R{} as the key and tries to search for a value for the same which doesn't exist.

I tried doing $R{$F{expression}} but that fails..

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can use the built-in str function:
