New page/column break element added

Hi,

We have added a new element called <break> to support both column and page breaks.

It behaves like a horizontal invisible line that consumes all the space below it and forces subsequent elements to overflow onto a new column/page.

The addition is committed on SVN and will be part of the next release.

We'd be happy to receive as much feedback as possible in the next few weeks to make sure it works propertly and improve it if needed.

Thank you,

Teodor

Sounds interesting, will definitely be checking out the latest SVN version!

A thought... what about a forum area for announcements etc. to post all of these notices, and also a "working on" thread for the features we can expect in upcoming releases?

How do you connect to the SVN repos? I see a post that says to use http://scm.jasperforge.org/svn/repos/jasperreports as the repository, but what should the user/pass be?

Thanks a lot for the great work guys, keep it up!

Robin
